A Living Strategy for our Community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 This represents a foundation, the strategic plan for achieving improvements including equality and self-sufficiency within the Black community. This plan is based on the history of the US, the laws and how people of color have existed within this system that has included slavery, Jim Crow and the failures of those laws claimed under Affirmative Action to correct past abuse. Over the next 18 months Hood Research will roll out documented detail with timelines, explanations of measures and short-term goals. Our Black Agenda becomes a written resource for enactment of public policy, election of officials and positions on varying topics impacting our society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Economic Equality<\/strong>\n

    1. Eliminate Prosperity Gaps \u2013 resolved through earnings and categorized in two segments;\n

      1. Household Income<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Household Wealth<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Education Parity <\/strong>\u2013 a Public Education System\n
          \n
        1. Accessible without restrictions – open to everyone<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. A Quality Result – equivalent with other institutions throughout the jurisdiction of the United States<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Free \u2013 no cost beyond the taxes paid in support of education<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. A lifelong resource educating on innovations, new technology, sustaining family, households, trades and business skills for all citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Political Governance<\/strong>\n
            \n
          1. No gerrymandering<\/span>, draw boundaries based on municipal boundaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. No redlining<\/span>, regulations and enforcement should not be based on where you live<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Voting<\/strong> \u2013 All citizens allowed to vote without limitation with the only exception being a minimum age requirement; Enforce fairness – no weights, one vote per person; No barriers like extra registrations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Our Rights \u2013 Human and Civil<\/strong>\n

            1. Labor<\/strong> -eliminate prison labor (elimination of slave labor), enshrine wage equality regardless of citizenship, ensure adequacy of wages per job activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. A legal system<\/strong> and jurisprudence that respects all communities, embraces the power of the jury-vote where everyone has the freedom to participate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. A method for Affirmative Action<\/strong> to overcome systematic discrimination<\/li>\n\n\n\n
