Upcoming Agenda

This month we focus on government and governing. How government works using Detroit, Mi as the example and reviewing certain parts of the city charter. We may also review other charters as requested or to address questions.

We are going to examine state laws such as PA 436, PA 197 (1975), the Detroit City Charter and other laws, ordinances including the Open Meetings Act, Michigan Constitution, others based on suggestion.

We will continue our Coffee Cafe Meet-ups and visit Detroit Brewtiful, date is TBA so join us on Saturday to get the announcement.

We completed phase one of our goal to write a Black Agenda. We will engage with phase two in June.
